My Philosophy
The important parts, the emotions, the forgotten parts, and the parts you didn't even know happened – all captured. I personally prefer to strip back the concept of wedding photography and make it more about the people in the photo, telling the story of their day, their lives, their emotions. No awkward posing, just some gentle guidance from me when needed. Simple, authentic photography shot from the heart.

Hi, I’m Andrea, founder of Sombra+Luz (Spanish for shadow and light).
I was born and raised in Belize City, Belize C.A. I’ve always been the creative type with a passion for photography – I truly believe that it is what I was called to do. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I was drawn to wedding photography and fell in love! I find beauty and inspiration in minimalism, natural light, art, fashion, vulnerability, imperfections, movement – inspiration is everywhere!
